St Andrew’s Catholic Primary School is a Catholic school and part of the Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company. Staff seek to live out the values of Jesus Christ; weekly Mass is celebrated by Father Christopher Miller in the parish hall; the school is connected with St Thomas More Parish in Sheldon and the school emphasises faith, worship and a Catholic ethos throughout. The school describes itself as a place where children grow as young people, in an atmosphere of mutual love and respect, guided by Catholic values.

The school emphasises a calm, purposeful environment where pupils are happy, confident and love to learn, and where staff work hard to help every child achieve their potential in line with the school motto.
Jigsaws is the school’s wraparound/childcare provision. It is based in the School Hall and offers a wrap-around service with before and after school sessions. Booking is through the IPAL online system. Before School Club runs 7:45–8:55am; After School Club options run until 4:30pm, 5:30pm or 6:00pm depending on the session; wraparound is also available in the Nursery. The Inclusion Manager leads SEND and inclusion work. The school has close contacts with external agencies (Solihull Inclusion Support Service, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists) and a Family Support Worker. SEND policy and information describe how needs are met, with links to Solihull SENDIAS, Independent Supporters, and other support networks. Services available include access to CAMHs (SOLAR for Solihull, Forward Thinking Birmingham), School Nurse Team, Kooth for older pupils, ELSA/SEMH-focused interventions, LEGO-based therapy, Ordinary Magic SEMH support, Connected Care Network, and Early Help through local authority referrals.
