Ethos & Values

Strength Service Success

St Gabriel’s is described as an inclusive Catholic family who embrace diverse identities, faiths and beliefs. The mission is to use God-given talents to serve others and to succeed, with Christ at the centre and gospel values integral to all that the school does.

Head Teacher's Message

Welcome to our website. Our school has a strong reputation in pastoral care, academic success and Catholic ethos. In the most recent diocesan inspection, St Gabriel’s was graded outstanding in all areas. Pupils gain college places and apprenticeships of their choice, with broad provision in Religious Education and regular Mass and prayer, and involvement in the Catholic mission. The school comprises about 1060 students and 130 staff, opened in 1954, and works with 14 other schools in partnership.
