GCSE Drama course by AQA with three components: Understanding Drama (40%), Devising Drama (40%), Theatre Texts in Practice (20%). Year 7–9 Drama curriculum structure: drama taught in years 7–9 with focus areas including Greek Theatre, Melodrama, Stanislavski techniques, pantomime, physical theatre, mask, and a Year 9 study of DNA by Dennis Kelly, Brecht’s Epic Theatre and live theatre review. GCSE Drama assessments include both practical and theory components across the three components (Components 1–3)
