Head Teacher's Message

Welcome to the University of Liverpool Mathematics School. We are one of the friendliest, smallest and highest performing schools in the country. We are inclusive and support students who have faced disadvantage. Our staff provide high academic standards, enriched curriculum and strong pastoral support, and we were selected as the State Sixth Form College of the Year 2026 by The Times and Sunday Times.

Admissions Criteria

We are recruiting Year 12 students starting their A-Levels in September 2026. We have a specialised curriculum and only offer A-Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science. The admissions aptitude test takes place on Saturday 17th January 2026. Interviews take place in February, during half term and at other times. Early deadline for applications is Sunday 7th December 2025; apply by this time to be invited to our online Admissions Aptitude Test preparation session which will take place on Wednesday 10th December.
