SEND Provision

Budmouth Academy provides SEND support through Learning Support Centre, Student Support Centre, and an Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) Base, with tailored programmes, ELSA support, access to outside agencies, and a team including SENDCo, Inclusion Lead, and dedicated learning and ASC staff. The provision covers transition, accessibility, and EHCP-related planning, with the aim of enabling each student to thrive.

Admissions Criteria

Year 7 admissions are managed with a Published Admissions Number (PAN) of 260. Open admissions information and deadlines are provided (closing date for secondary and upper school applications: 31 October 2025). Offers for on-time applications are communicated on 2 March 2026; late applications on 30 March 2026. The Local Authority (Dorset) handles the admissions process. External Sixth Form applicants have a Published Admissions Number of 50, with internal and external applicants needing to meet the same academic criteria.
