The Headteacher describes Dane Bank as a warm, welcoming place with a 'family feel' where staff know pupils and care about their learning and wellbeing. The school aims to support every child to achieve their potential, become emotionally literate and confident individuals, and to build strong partnerships with families and the local community.
Dane Bank Kids Club offers before & after school and holiday club.
Admissions are coordinated by the Local Authority (Tameside LA). Nursery places are for children aged 3 (full and part-time). Reception admissions are handled by the Local Authority. In-year admissions are also managed by the Local Authority. If places are available, the Local Authority will notify families and you will need to contact the school to complete admissions forms and arrange a tour. Dane Bank publishes Admissions Arrangements Statements for 2024-2025, 2025-2026 and 2026-2027.
