Ethos & Values

"All pupils achieve the highest standard of educational outcomes regardless of circumstance or background."

Head Teacher's Message

Executive Headteacher G Rothwell welcomes visitors and emphasises high standards and the Trust's vision that all pupils achieve the highest standard of educational outcomes regardless of circumstance or background.

Curriculum Highlights

Curriculum is clearly defined with content sequenced from EYFS through KS1 and KS2. Curriculum aims are language rich and aligned with the National Curriculum to develop vocabulary and understanding. A robust assessment framework across subjects is used to evaluate impact and inform provision. Cross-curricular opportunities and interleaving are used to embed learning.

Admissions Criteria

Priority for admission is given to: 1) children who are looked after or previously looked after; 2) children who have a sibling attending the school at the time of application/admission; 3) children whose home address is the shortest distance from the school. Applications for Reception should be made to Birmingham Local Authority; in-year admissions are handled directly by the school. The linked Infant and Junior schools have a transfer process from Year 2 to Year 3. The school follows Birmingham City Council procedures for Admissions and Appeals.
