SEND Provision

The Albion Academy identifies SEND needs through baseline testing; an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) supports differentiation; internal withdrawal intervention programmes; referrals to external agencies including the Learning Support Service, Speech and Language Therapist, CAMHS, Occupational Therapist, Educational Psychology Service; termly progress meetings with pupil and families; and, where progress remains insufficient, consideration of an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). SEND provision covers Cognition and learning, Communication and interaction, Sensory/Physical, and Social, emotional mental health.
