BMS Homework Club: Mondays (Years 5 and 6) 3.15pm – 4.15pm (Free); Tuesdays (Years 7 and 8) 3.15pm – 4.15pm (Free). SEND Provision

Birchensale Middle School provides an inclusive and nurturing environment with personalised SEND support. It emphasises collaboration between teachers, parents and support staff, and has a dedicated SENDCo (Ms Kaly Phelan) and Assistant SENDCo (Mrs Usha Murdanaigum) as well as a SEN Governor (Mrs Polly McMeeking). Admissions Criteria

Birchensale Middle School is an academy and is its own admissions authority. Main entry at Year 5. Applications to join Year 5 are made via the home Local Authority using the common application form; for other year groups or In-Year transfers, apply through Worcestershire County Council (CA1 form). The school subscribes to the Fair Access Protocol. Admissions policies for 2023–2024, 2024–2025, 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 are available on the policies page; appeals timetable and forms are published (2026-27, 2025-26, etc.).
