The Meadows Primary Academy is a two-form entry school for ages 3–11. Stoke-on-Trent City Council is the Admissions authority. We follow the Stoke on Trent Admissions Policy for 2025/26 and 2026/27. If there are more applications than places, the Council uses the following priorities in order: 1) Children cared for by a local authority and previously looked after but ceased to be so because they were adopted or subject to child arrangements or special guardianship orders; 2) Children living in the catchment area with an older brother or sister attending at the time of admission (or at the linked junior school for infant schools); 3) Other children living within the catchment area; 4) Children living outside the catchment area with an elder brother or sister at the school at the time of admission (or at the linked junior school); 5) Children living nearest to the school by straight line distance. In-Year Applications are managed through Stoke-on-Trent City Council and the Council’s admissions portal. Reception and Nursery admissions follow Stoke-on-Trent admissions processes; Nursery applications for 2026 have specific windows; Seedlings (pre-nursery) places are offered with term start dates in Spring and Summer terms.
