SEND Provision

Laureate Academy is an inclusive school with high aspirations for all learners. The SEND department works closely with families, teachers and students to support students and help them overcome barriers to learning. All SEND students receive high‑quality teaching in their class. The school uses the ‘Assess, Plan, Do, Review’ model to ensure appropriate, personalised support, and the SEND team collaborates with the behaviour team to ensure reasonable adjustments.

Admissions Criteria

Applications should be submitted through the Hertfordshire Council website. Applications to start in September 2026 must be submitted by 31 October 2025. Online application system opens 1 September 2025. Allocation Day is 2 March 2026. Last date to submit a late application for allocation day is 30 January 2026. In-year admissions details and an appeals process are available via the school’s admissions policies and forms.
