Read, Write Inc Phonics is the reading journey starting in Nursery; Reception children begin the RWI programme and aim to complete phonics by the end of Year 1 Knowledge-rich, coherent and well-sequenced curriculum designed to enable pupils to acquire knowledge and skills for the next stage of learning 5 key principles underpinning the curriculum design KS1 Curriculum Map and KS2 Curriculum Map available; Curriculum Policy available 100 Books to read; Progression in Language Structures; Guided Reading Sequence; English policies (WTPS English Policy June 2025) The curriculum includes policies and long-term planning documents such as Virtual Calculation policy ks1 and ks2; Maths policy; Maths long term planning; Calculation policy; Early Years Pre-Calculation Policy

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Breakfast Club runs from 7.30am until the start of the school day during term time. A daily charge of £4.00 per session. After School Club runs from 3:10pm until 6:00pm on weekdays during term time. A daily charge of £6.50 per day regardless of arrival time, with an additional charge of £6.50 if collected after 6:00pm. During Holiday Club, parents are required to provide their child with a packed lunch each day. The school also has access to facilities such as a computer suite, a large Connect Four, a “quiet” area, the library, Lynn’s Garden and outdoor activities, dependent upon the weather.

Our School SENCo is Laura Swann who is contactable via the school office. Admissions Criteria

Nursery places are offered as a mix of morning 15-hour, afternoon 15-hour and full-time places with a maximum class size of 30. Breakfast and after-school club are available for Nursery at a small additional cost, and all applicants are requested to contact the school to view provision before applying. In-year admissions follow Wolverhampton Local Authority procedures (entry to school other than Reception); inquiries for Reception or other year groups should be made to Wolverhampton LA at www.wolverhampton.gov.uk/admissions.

Financial Information

Breakfast Club: £4.00 per session. After School Club: £6.50 per day. An additional charge of £6.50 may be applied for any child collected after 6:00pm. Holiday Club requires packed lunches to be provided by parents.
