Education, when it’s done right, is about empowering individuals to actually go out and shape the world. Welcome to the London Screen Academy! I’m Sam Summerson, and I’m excited to lead a community where students gain hands-on experience with industry leaders in state-of-the-art facilities.

Curriculum Highlights

UAL Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design and Communication (equivalent to three A Levels) 15 hours per week of teaching across Film and TV subjects with compulsory weekly masterclasses and screenings Level 3 pathways: Production Management, Craft, Technical, Post Production; Core subjects: Development, Industry Progression, Storytelling AdQuals: English or Maths A Level, or EPQ or Core Maths (half A Level) Level 4 pathways: Creative Enterprise and Film Production; Level 4 courses overview Weekly film screenings and masterclasses are compulsory

SEND Provision

SEND support includes SENDCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), Learning Mentors and a SEND Industry Projects Manager; One-to-One support, Learning Mentor support, whole school study skills workshops; SEND Industry Projects such as The Employability & Professionalism Programme and LSA Summertime Shorts; Industry trips to the ITV Loose Women Set.
