SEND Provision

The Beaulieu Park School is described as an inclusive, all-through school with SEND provision organised around a three-tier model: Universal (high-quality teaching with minor adaptations), Targeted (additional short-term, small-group or one-to-one interventions), and Specialist (access to external specialists and services when needed). The SENCo/Lead Learning Assistant coordinate interventions and progress is reviewed termly. Specific supports mentioned include Lexia reading, Accelerated Reader (AR), Times Tables Rockstars, a range of literacy and numeracy interventions, after-school enrichment, in/out-of-class support from learning assistants and SEND team, Essex EP Service, and Outreach support from various partners. Reading and maths interventions are supported by additional staffing and CPD, and there is an emphasis on involving families and external agencies where appropriate.
