Armfield Academy is an all-through primary/secondary Free School with a Nursery in Blackpool. The Headteacher emphasizes high expectations, a no-excuse culture, a child-centered ethos, inclusive values, and a commitment to achieving excellent outcomes across all phases.

Nursery offers extended sessions before and after school. Breakfast Club runs 8:00–8:45am and After School care runs 3:15–5:30pm. Nursery day runs 8:45am–3:15pm with additional lunch options. Up to 15 hours of free childcare (3-year-old grant) or up to 30 hours if eligible; if not eligible, £5.00 per hour is charged. If nursery is a full day there is an additional charge of £2.50 for lunch care with a choice of school dinner (£2.00 per day) or packed lunch from home.

Financial Information

Up to 15 hours – Every child is entitled to 15 free childcare hours through the government 3 year-old grant scheme, or up to 30 hours, depending on eligibility. If you are not eligible for the 30 hour government grant funding a charge of £5.00 per hour will apply. If your child attends Nursery for a full day there is an additional charge of £2.50 for lunch care and the option to choose from a school dinner (£2.00 per day) or a packed lunch from home.
