Astbury School has a single intake into the Reception class each year; Children must have reached four years old prior to 1 September in the year of admission. For admission into Year 1–6, applications are considered individually and are dependent upon space being available. Visits are encouraged; after a visit, applications for admission are made through Cheshire East. If places are available, details sheets and forms must be completed. Visits are not compulsory and do not affect admission decisions.
