Admissions Criteria

Nursery admissions are administered by the Governing Body and provide places for either 30 or 15 funded hours per week. Applications can be made after a child’s 2nd birthday, and children can be considered for a place in the term following their 3rd birthday. Nursery places are 15 funded hours per week (3 hours per day), with a limited number of full-time places (30 hours). The first fifteen hours are free through government funding, and full-time places (30 hours) are available free of charge for families eligible for the government-funded 30 hours free childcare. For Nursery Foundation Places, a Supplementary Application Form should be completed. A Nursery place does not guarantee a Reception place, which must be applied for separately with Lewisham Local Authority. Reception and In-Year admissions are administered by Lewisham Local Authority, with a deadline for Reception admissions of 15 January via www.eadmissions.org.uk; church places require a supplementary form completed by the vicar/priest and sent to the school. In-Year admissions are coordinated by Lewisham Local Authority, and there is an Appeals process for unsuccessful applicants.

Financial Information

The first fifteen hours are free for everyone through government funding; full-time places (30 hours) are available free of charge for families eligible for the government funded 30 hours free childcare.
