SEND Provision

Henley Bank High School provides support for students with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). It emphasises a learning triangle between school, students and families, entitlement to a broad, balanced curriculum, inclusion of students with additional needs in mainstream classes with subject specialists, partnership with families, proactive referrals to external agencies, and distributed SEND leadership.

Admissions Criteria

Year 7 admissions are coordinated by Gloucestershire County Council. Applications for admission to Year 7 must be made in October of the year before admission, with online application available. Closing date for applications is 31 October (for secondary places). Allocation Day is 2 March, with waiting list outcomes communicated by 6 April; if resident outside Gloucestershire, applicants should apply through their own local authority. The Greenshaw Learning Trust is the admissions authority for Henley Bank High School.
