SEND Provision

The Pupil Premium is additional school funding paid by means of a specific grant based on school census figures for students registered as eligible for Free School Meals, Ever 6, Looked After Children / Adopted Children, Children whose parents are currently in the Armed Forces. The funding is used to address inequalities between eligible and non-eligible students and to ensure funding reaches those who need it most. The Senior Lead for Pupil Premium is Mr M Skinner, Assistant Headteacher. The school formally reviews the Pupil Premium Strategy annually and posts the report by the end of October each year; a Pupil Premium Strategy 2024 is available as a PDF.

Admissions Criteria

Year 9 admissions are via Staffordshire County Council (local authority). Open Evening for Year 9 in October 2025 and applications must be submitted by 31 October 2025. Late applications for Sixth Form accepted until 30 September 2025. Open Evening for Sixth Form in November 2025. Admissions Arrangements 2026-27 PDF is available for detailed criteria.
