SEND Provision

The Whiteoak Academies provide an inclusive education with SEND provision. They have an Academies SEND Co-ordinator (SENCO) who has completed the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination and works with staff, parents and pupils to ensure appropriate academic and pastoral support. The schools work regularly with an Educational Psychologist and an LSP Advisory Teacher for SEND. Queries can be directed to the SENCO; EHCP processes are described, with reference to Local Authority pathways and support for transitions and identifying pupils’ needs using tools such as Boxall Profiles.

Admissions Criteria

Admissions are coordinated by North Somerset Council on behalf of The Lighthouse Schools Partnership. The published admission number (PAN) is 60 per year group. Year 2 pupils at Hannah More are automatically allocated one of the 60 places at Grove Junior in Year 3, but all other year groups must apply. The LSP publishes admission arrangements for 2025-2026 and 2026-2027.
