"Aim Ever Higher"
Leigh Church of England Academy is part of the Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust and maintains a Christian ethos. The school uses the Roots and Fruits Programme covering 12 Christian Values over 2 years, and underpins these values with the four aims of the Church of England’s vision for education: Wisdom, Hope, Community and Dignity. The school aims to nurture wisdom and religious literacy within a safe, nurturing environment in which all pupils can develop as respectful global citizens.
Executive Headteacher Lynn Lee welcomes visitors and describes Leigh as a Christian, nurturing and high-expectation school with a family feel, strong links with parents and the church, and a curriculum designed to engage pupils and help them reach their potential.
