Ethos & Values

Resilience Aspiration Success

Head Teacher's Message

A warm welcome York High School is anchored strongly in our community and our aim is to make a real difference to the lives of the young people that we work with. We have been through a period of rapid and sustained improvement, and in our last Ofsted Inspection in September 2022, we were delighted to receive a ‘Good’ rating. York High School is a special place where ordinary is not enough to be successful, the school and its community pride itself on honesty and transparency. As Principal, I am proud to see our pupils live out our values of resilience, aspiration and success every day, in every lesson.
