Head Teacher's Message

Headteacher welcome describes Guilsborough as a charming village Church of England primary, emphasising partnership with the community and Christian ethos to develop pupils; stresses ‘Achieving More Together’ and holistic development underpinned by Christian values

Facilities

Peace Garden (developed in March 2016, replacing the former conservation area; designed by pupils and teachers) Wooden Learning Lodge (built 2016 near the conservation area) Cledwyn Jones building (new block of classrooms named after a former headmaster, opened 2003) KS1 play area (renovated in 2009) Dome over the swimming pool (built in 1999 to extend swimming season) Swimming pool (removed in 2014, providing more playground space)

Admissions Criteria

Reception admissions: children may start in the September following their 4th birthday; Applications for reception are made through the local authority; Faith-based admission requires completing the Supplementary Information Form (SIF) in addition to the local authority form and returning to the school by 15 January; In-year applications are managed by the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust; Waiting lists operate with a defined timeframe; Appeals process available via the Diocese
