"Happy, Helpful and Hard-working"
Headteacher Mrs Robson describes Riverside as led by a dedicated team, with motto 'Happy, Helpful and Hard-working' and values; emphasises building CHARACTER and a vision of providing the best start in life and personalised curriculum.
Specialist Provisions at Riverside: Visual Impairment (VI) Provision & Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Provision
Referrals are made by the Local Authority's SEN Panel. All pupils will have an Education, Health and Care Plan. VI provision requires an EHCP with VI as the primary need. ASD provision requires a clear medical diagnosis of ASD and an EHCP. Pupils should be able to access the National Curriculum with appropriate support. A place may not be offered if the funded places are fully subscribed or if safety/health considerations apply.
