Woodlands Primary Academy provides SEND provision with a dedicated SENCO (Mrs Katrina Moran). All children identified as having a SEND have a support plan and, where relevant, a one-page profile. The academy works with external services via the Oldham Local Offer, POINT (SEND Information, Advice, Support Service) and SENDIASS. For enquiries about SEND, contact the main school office at 0161 3695698 or [email protected]; additional documents include the woodlands send policy and the woodlands send information report for 2025-2026.
The academy plans to offer 45 places at age 4 (Reception). Admissions arrangements are made in accordance with Oldham Local Authority coordinated admission arrangements. In-year admissions are handled directly by the academy and use the Oldham ICAF; if places are available, offers are made; if not, a waiting list is used in accordance with the Academy Admissions Policy.
