Admissions Criteria

Thornton Primary School follows Bradford Council admissions arrangements. Nursery admissions: 60 places, 15 hours per week, with flexible options and charges for lunchtimes beyond the 15 hours; nursery pupils are prioritised for a place in reception; a separate Local Authority application is required for nursery and reception places; waiting list is kept for nursery admissions. Reception admissions (September 2025 start): apply to the Local Authority online between 18 November 2024 and 15 January 2025. In-Year admissions are coordinated by Bradford Council.
