"nurturing minds, inspiring excellence"
It is my privilege to be the headteacher of Westminster Primary School. We are determined to deliver the highest quality of education for all of the children that are entrusted to us.
Places will be offered on the following order of priorities: Looked after children (LAC), previously looked after children (PLAC) and internationally adopted previously looked after children (IAPLAC). This includes any child/young person who is subject to a Full Care Order, an interim Care Order, accommodated under Section 20 of the Children Act 1989, is remanded or detained into local authority accommodation under Criminal Law or who has been placed for adoption. Any child with a statement of special educational needs is required to be admitted to the school named in the statement. Children (siblings) with an older brother or sister already at the school who will still be in attendance at the time the sibling enters the school. Siblings (brothers and sisters) are those children who live at the same address and either have one or both parents in common, are related by a parent’s marriage, are adopted or fostered by a common parent. Children of staff. Children who live nearest the school. Within each category, priority is given to those who live nearest the school, by straight line measurement to one fixed point in the school. If vacancies occur because of pupils not taking up places or leaving school, places continue to be allocated according to the above criteria. In-year Admissions: If you would like for your child to attend Westminster Primary School, download and complete the Application for a Change of School In-Year admission form, or request one in person. If we are full in your year group, your child’s details will be placed on our waiting list and you will be contacted when a place becomes available.
