Admissions Criteria

Year 7 admissions are coordinated centrally by the Local Authority (Cheshire West and Chester). Closing date for applications into Year 7 for September 2026 is 31 October 2025. The school welcomes applications from partner primary schools (Belgrave, Chester Blue Coat, Dodleston, Eccleston, Grosvenor Park Academy, Hoole, Lache, Overleigh St Marys) as well as applicants from other primary schools outside the catchment. Open Evening (17 September 2025) and Open Mornings (18–22 September 2025) are listed; in-year admissions are dealt with by CWAC. For Year 7 transitions, contact Transition Lead ([email protected]) and Admissions Officer ([email protected]). Sixth Form admissions are separate and linked to the Sixth Form section of the site.
