Admissions Criteria

City of London Academy Highgate Hill has a Published Admission Number (PAN) of 120 Year 7 places. Applicants must sit a non-verbal reasoning banding test and will be placed in one of four bands (25% in each band). Looked After Children or previously looked after, and children with siblings who are already on roll at the City of London Academy Highgate Hill and will still be on roll at entry, are given priority. Children with exceptional medical, social or psychological needs, where it is agreed by the Academy Trust that these can best be addressed at the City of London Academy Highgate Hill, may be admitted. Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) naming the school are included in the band allocations. If more applications are received than places available, places will be allocated in the following order of priority: 1) Looked After Children or previously looked after; 2) Children with siblings on roll; 3) Children with exceptional medical, social or psychological needs; 4) Children living nearest to the Academy measured by straight-line distance.
