St Leonard’s is a Catholic School. Catholic teaching and practice permeates every aspect of the school’s activity. The school provides a Catholic curriculum designed to enable every pupil to discern their vocation and to be well-equipped to follow it as active citizens in the world. The Catholic ethos emphasises forming the whole person, supporting faith development through prayer, liturgy, retreats and a wide range of Catholic life activities.

The school has been recognised as outstanding in inspections, with a new build scheduled for Easter 2026, and offers a broad academic curriculum alongside extensive personal development and enrichment opportunities.
Clubs
Saint Leonard’s Catholic School is an inclusive school. The Learning Support department ensures all students receive the support required to access high-quality teaching. The school follows the SEN Code of Practice 2015 and uses its best endeavours to remove barriers to learning, providing ‘additional to and different from’ support as needed, with involvement from students and families in decision-making at all stages.
