St Georges is a church school with links to three local churches: Milton Methodist, Worle Baptist and St Mark's C of E. The school shares a daily Worship as a whole school and has regular visits from the churches. Daily Worship links to core Christian values and the school considers stories and teachings from many faiths and non-faith views as part of its Worship cycle to celebrate diversity.
Headteacher: Sarah Starr. Welcome to St Georges Church School and Nursery. The Headteacher expresses pride in leading an inclusive, outward-facing school focused on building a sustainable community and developing a curriculum that fosters curiosity, creativity and lifelong learning, preparing children for roles as engineers, writers, artists, scientists and more, with links to local churches and a commitment to celebrating diversity.
Nursery’s After School provision takes place in Nursery’s purpose-built indoor and outdoor facilities and is run by Nursery staff members. The children are familiar with their safe, stimulating environment and are cared for by adults they know well.
SEND Co-ordinator is Mrs Sarah Starr; SENCO; oversees inclusion for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
The school is a single-form entry with a PAN of 30 in Reception and Key Stage 1 and a PAN of 31 in Key Stage 2. Applications for places can be made at any time. For September 2025, home Local Authority applications should be submitted via the authority’s Common Application Form by 15 January 2025; a decision will be issued on 17 April 2025. In-year admissions are issued within 10 school days for decisions where applicable.
