Miss Emma Emson welcomes visitors to Great Coates Primary School, describing it as a warm, friendly, safe, happy, and fun place to learn. She highlights a broad and balanced curriculum including forest schools, cooking and a large range of sports, with a goal for children to be caring, confident, resilient and inquisitive who strive to do their best.

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Wraparound care is available at Great Coates Primary School, including a breakfast club and after-school options. The academy day lists a breakfast club opening at 8:00am, with the main school day running 8:45am–3:15pm and after-school clubs running until 4:15pm. Sessions can be full days, half days, mornings or afternoons, and, for full-day attendance, there is an option of a cooked lunch from the school canteen. Days can be agreed with the nursery/wraparound team and may be changed termly. Top-up nursery sessions are available as needed.

Admissions Criteria

Nursery admissions are completed by the school using Local Authority admissions criteria. Parents can request a Nursery admission form from the school or download it and return it to the school office. Admissions for entry to the school follow the North East Lincolnshire Council process with policies and oversubscription criteria referenced.
