Headteacher Ben Walsh welcomes visitors and highlights that St Philip’s has dedicated staff, fantastic facilities, and supports students to achieve their full potential socially and academically, and to become as independent as possible.

Curriculum Highlights

The Curriculum at St Philip’s is broad, balanced and diverse. The Curriculum is practical, vocational and exciting. Subjects include PSHE/RSE, Animal Care, Religious Education and Careers Guidance.

Admissions Criteria

St Philip’s School is a special educational needs school for young people aged 9-19 years, and all students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Oversubscription Criteria: Please read our Admissions Policy and school Admissions Procedure. Open Morning visits are by invitation only following assessment of individual consultation papers. Applications should indicate St Philip’s School as a preference at Year 5 Annual Review or Year 6 (if the Annual Review is held early in the Autumn Term). Policies related to admissions are on the Policies page. The school caters for a range of ability levels, including moderate learning difficulties and additional needs such as ASD.
