"Living and growing in Christ"
Religious Education is central to the whole school curriculum and underpins all teaching. It is a core subject and we follow the 'Come and See' scheme of work. RE lessons should be faith-filled, enjoyable and help each child feel they belong to our school community. The Catholic Church has seven principles of social teaching that we share with our children through all that we do, through the curriculum, special events and activity and through our ordinary actions in school. Our Catholic Social Teaching is incorporated into the curriculum, with pupils encouraged to put their faith into action and reflect on how learning enables them to contribute to the common good.

Inclusion is at the heart of the school's SEND provision. Some children may have learning, physical, emotional or special needs which require support. Needs are identified and assessed according to the national code of practice, with help provided in school or from outside agencies. The school aims to provide individual and small-group provision to help all children progress, plans to differentiate work, early screening of SEND pupils, and regular liaison with external agencies. The SENDCo/Inclusion lead is Elizabeth Wright; the SEND Governor is Jo Sone.
