SEND Provision

Most learners have Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs). If a child does not have an EHCP, they may join the school on an assessment placement. The EHCP is a legally binding document specifying a child/young person’s SEN, the outcomes sought, required special educational provision, and any health and social care provision needed. Annual reviews are organised, and advice from parents, social services, health services, educational psychologists and other professionals may be used to support EHCP applications.

Admissions Criteria

Pupils are admitted via the Local Education Authority (London Borough of Havering) Admissions Panel and Lime Trust. Most pupils have EHCPs prior to joining; some may join on an assessment placement during which advice is sought from parents, social services, health services, the educational psychologist and the school to support EHCP applications. Visitors may be invited to visit the school as part of the process.
