St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School is a Catholic school in the trusteeship of the Diocese of Westminster. As a Catholic school, the precepts of Catholic education are at our core. RE is a core subject and we adhere to a Diocesan-wide curriculum, with strong links to the local Parish and community, including Building the Kingdom, Lifesavers, and cross-curricular embedding of Catholic values.

Curriculum Highlights

Curriculum designed to provide high levels of knowledge, skills and learning across subject areas with cross-curricular reading and writing embedded. RE is a core subject following a Diocesan-wide curriculum with Building the Kingdom/Lifesavers approaches. Liturgical year integration and Catholic ethos embedded across the curriculum. One World Weeks studying Judaism, Islam and Hinduism. International work including Lourdes/HCPT pilgrimage, exchanges with Madrid (Miramadrid), Sopot (Poland), Rosignano (Italy), and Paris (France). Power of Reading and Building the Kingdom; Lifesavers and Wellbeing initiatives; cross-curricular pedagogy to promote long-term memory and engagement. After-school activities offered every night (Sport, Art, Maths, Science, Drama); wrap-around care from 7:45am to 6:00pm.

Admission information includes online applications through the relevant borough (Harrow or Brent), New Reception Admissions Criteria 2025-2026/2026-2027, Supplementary Information Forms, certificates of Practice from a Priest, copies of Birth/Baptism certificates and proof of address. Documents should be returned to the School office. Key dates include: 1 September 2025 (open), 15 January 2026 (closing), 16 April 2026 (outcome), 30 April 2026 (offer acceptance), 15 May 2026 (appeals).
