Bilingual education with English and French taught 50/50 in Primary (Year 1 to Year 6) by two native-language teachers Nursery and Reception language immersion programme (French-English) with two qualified teachers Secondary tracks: International Track (lead to IGCSEs and the IB Diploma) and French Track (DNB and Baccalauréat Français or BF International) Formal study of a third modern language from Year 7 IB Diploma Programme offered in Sixth Form (Year 12/13) for International Track; IGCSEs available in Year 11 Read Write Inc. After-school activities are organised every day until 5pm for an additional fee. Onsite after school care until 6pm is also available for a fee.

Admissions Criteria

Open to children of all nationalities from age 3 to 18. There is no specific entry exam; offers are dependent upon the number of available spaces, and the three most recent school reports are considered as part of the application. External candidates will be considered according to the school’s Admissions Policy.

Our school fees include: Onsite lunch. EYFS and Primary classroom consumables such as textbooks, notebooks, and writing materials. In Secondary, an individual school-owned tablet including all software/apps/digital textbooks and resources needed for our academic programme. Families may be asked to purchase physical textbooks and notebooks as required in Secondary. There are three financial assistance options available to families: AEFE financial assistance; LIL Complementary Financial Assistance; and the French Scholarship Foundation (FSF). AEFE bursaries may be awarded to eligible French citizens registered with the French Consulate; LIL Complementary Financial Assistance may top up AEFE bursaries; FSF provides financial assistance to families of students at LIL and CFBL.
