We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils. We are proud to be part of the Tapton Schools Trust.
Wraparound childcare is available for all pupils from 7:30am until 6:15pm. Breakfast Club runs 7:30am–8:30am and pupils move to their classrooms by 8:40am. Break times and staggered lunch times are specified by year group. After School Club runs 3:30pm–6:15pm with a snack; additional hours up to 3:30pm can be booked at £5.32 per hour (e.g., if attending until 2:30pm an extra hour to 3:30pm is charged).
Hallam Primary School admissions follow the Sheffield Local Authority Policy and applications for a place at Hallam should be directed to Primary Admissions for Sheffield. Reception applications are invited every Autumn term with a closing date of 15 January each year. If a year group is oversubscribed, the council’s oversubscription criteria apply. For SEND, children with an Education, Health and Care Plan naming the school will be admitted before other places. Appeals and in-year transfers are handled through Sheffield City Council, and the full admissions policy is on the school policies page.
School meals are charged at £2.95 per meal. Nursery provisions include snack charges: full time £5.00 per week; part time £2.50. Wraparound care is charged as follows: Breakfast Club £6.50 per session (7:30–8:30); After School Club £14 (3:30–6:15); an additional hour until 3:30pm is £5.32 per hour if applicable.
