Headteacher Marya Afreedi reports Ofsted inspection results (December 2024) identifying Hackney New Primary School as outstanding, praising pupil behaviour, curriculum ambition, and the central role of music in the curriculum; thanks staff, parents and pupils.

Play Plus runs from the end of the standard school day at 4pm until 6pm. Sessions cost £10.00 a day (or £5.00 for those in receipt of Pupil Premium Funding). Universal Infant Free School Meals apply to Reception, Year 1 and Year 2; from Year 3 meals are charged unless eligible for Free School Meals. Meals are provided by Fuel for Learning and are Halal, with fish MSC certified and Red Tractor assured.
