Headteacher Maggie Candlish welcomes families and states the mission to nurture each child to become LEADERS in their learning and life, with a dedicated team and joyful environment.
All pupils have an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHC Plan), or attend on an assessment placement. Their plans will include the need for highly specialist provision for Physical disabilities and/or Complex Medical Needs, with associated learning or sensory needs. Working in partnership with the Health Trusts, the school provides onsite medical, physiotherapy, sensory and communication support.
Saxon Hill Academy is an all-age (2-19) special school for children with complex medical needs and physical disabilities. Children placed at Saxon Hill will have an Educational Health and Care plan, or attend on an assessment placement.
