Hoe Valley School was founded in 2015 as a local non-selective 11–18 school. It emphasises the CIRCLE values (Courtesy, Integrity, Resilience, Community, Leadership, Enthusiasm), a Google School approach, and a work-ready, personalised curriculum. The Head Teacher invites tours and describes the school as open and welcoming.
