Head Teacher's Message

Welcome to Manor Park Primary Academy. Headteacher Christine Chapman describes the school as friendly with a dedicated staff and a safe, nurturing environment. The mission statement is ‘Community, Diversity and Excellence,’ and school values are Aspiration, Courage, Kindness, Gratitude, Resilience, and Respect. Manor Park is a member of REAch2 Academy Trust, which supports the school and provides initiatives such as 11 Before 11 to enrich the curriculum.

Curriculum Highlights

Phonics and reading lessons start after registration using Read Write Inc Phonics Maths taught through the White Rose mastery approach English lessons cover speaking, listening, reading and writing; writing taught through the Talk for Writing approach Afternoon teaching includes science and wider curriculum (history, geography, art, etc.) Assemblies include weekly Phase Assemblies and Celebration Assembly; daily Reflection Times School week is aimed to be 32.5 hours (including breaks and lunchtimes; does not include after-school clubs or wraparound)

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club operates on site with opening time 8:00–8:40am (last breakfast served 8:30am) and children are taken to their classroom afterwards. After-school wraparound provision is provided on site by Clubs Complete for on-site childcare. Registration is required. Rates for wraparound indicate 1st child in family £1.50 per day (prices to be reviewed for September 2025). Payment is managed via Online payments (e.g., SchoolMoney) with a minimum 24 hours’ notice for booking.
