Pupil Premium is funding provided to schools which is additional to main school funding. It is allocated according to the number of pupils on roll who are eligible for free school meals (FSM), a smaller amount allocated according to the number of children of service families, and an allocation for each pupil who has been ‘Looked After’ (in care) for 6 months or more. The funding is used to develop a curriculum and provide teaching and learning opportunities which meet the needs of all of our pupils, to support pupils who are disadvantaged or at risk of not accessing learning effectively, to ensure all pupils can access the full range of extracurricular activities, and to measure impact of the provision.
To allocate places, the following criteria are used: 1) Looked After Children 2) Medical or social needs 3) Siblings 4) Nearness to the school
Reception to Year 2: Children are entitled to a free school meal. Year 3 to 6: School meals cost £2.10 per day. We are a cashless school using Arbor for payments.
