Most pathways require 5+ standard GCSE passes or higher (grade 4 or higher) including GCSE Maths and either English Language or English Literature at a grade 4 or above. The entry requirements depend on the chosen pathway and course selection. Students also need to have passed GCSE Maths or GCSE English Language or Literature at a grade 4 or above. Where students have Mathematics, English Language and English Literature at a grade 3 or below, Elliott Hudson College cannot offer a place. Subject-specific requirements exist for certain subjects (e.g., Chemistry/Biology and Physics have Science-related grade expectations; Art and Design requires a 6+ in related art course or a BTEC Distinction; Mathematics requires a 7+ in Maths; Computer Science requires APS 5.5 or above, etc.). Pathways include 3 A Levels, 2 A Levels, 1 vocational, 2 vocational or 1 A Level plus vocational options, and T Levels are introduced in 2025 with a 45-day work placement.
