SEND Provision

PARC (Pupil Assessment & Reintegration Centre) offers a 16-week nurture provision for children from across West Northamptonshire. Children accessing PARC have trauma or attachment related needs, social, behavioural, emotional or wellbeing needs which could become long-term barriers to learning and attainment. Access to PARC is through the LA HARPS pathway and not directly through the school. St James also has an internal specialised provision called The Ark for our youngest children with significant social, communication and interaction and ASD difficulties.

Admissions Criteria

Admissions are allocated in accordance with the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET) Admissions Policy 2026-2027; Nursery Admissions Policy February 2025; Supplementary Information Form for Reception Applications (SIF) and Supplementary Information Form for In-year Applications (SIF). In-year applications are managed by PDET. Applications for places at nursery use the attached Nursery Application Form. If applying on faith grounds, submit the SIF in addition to the main application. For appeals, contact the Diocese’s education team.
