Curriculum Highlights

Two week timetable with a 20 period week; four periods per day, each 75 minutes long. KS3 language requirement; Year 7 and 8 study French and Spanish; Year 9 continues with chosen language. KS4 CORE curriculum includes English, Mathematics, Science (Separate or Combined Awards), Games, Religious Education, Careers Education and PSHE. KS5 offers a varied range of courses with a partnership arrangement with Haybridge High School and King Charles I School. Enrichment curriculum includes careers guidance, work experience, educational visits, cross-curricular links, and enrichment weeks. The Catholic Life Curriculum focuses on collective worship, Masses, liturgies, assemblies, charity projects, mentoring younger pupils, student service duties and Hagley Family Masses.

SEND Provision

SEND provision includes a SEND policy, a dedicated SENDCo, interventions tailored to individuals, and a one-page Pupil Passport for pupils on the SEND register; external agency referrals are made with parental consent.

Admissions Criteria

Oversubscription criteria for Years 7-11 include: 1 Baptised Catholic children who are looked after or previously looked after; 2 Baptised Catholic children with a brother/sister at Hagley; 3 Baptised Catholic children from named feeder schools; 4 Other Baptised Catholic children; 5 Non-Catholic looked after or previously looked after; 6 Non-Catholic children with a brother/sister at Hagley; 7 Non-Catholic children from named feeder schools; 8 Non-Catholic children whose parents wish them to be educated in a Catholic school.
