Head Teacher's Message

The Archbishop Lanfranc Academy describes itself as a diverse, inclusive community focused on academic achievement, teamwork, accountability, leadership and aspiration, with the motto Learning Changes Lives. It emphasizes wellbeing and mental health as a whole‑school responsibility and notes brand new facilities opened in 2018 to support learning, including a four‑court sports hall, dance studio, fitness suite and all‑weather 3G pitch, plus extensive enrichment to develop confident, independent learners.

All Weather 3G Astro Turf (full size football pitch or three seven-a-side pitches; fully floodlit; nets can separate pitches) with FIFA Quality Register Four-court indoor sports hall (with markings for basketball and badminton) Dance/Activities Studio Assembly Hall (seats up to 450) Dining Hall (seats up to 275) with canopy and kitchen area (canopy seats 50+) Outdoor grass pitches and netball court Extensive outdoor spaces including multiple playground areas Secure parking for over 50 vehicles Conference and classroom spaces within the facilities
