Brook House Primary School is situated in a very culturally diverse area, with a strong philosophy of celebrating cultural diversity. Assemblies address understanding and acceptance of different faiths and beliefs through stories and celebrations from a variety of faiths and cultures. Religious Education (RE), Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) and RRSA teaching reinforce this, and in RE lessons, members of different faiths or religions are encouraged to share their knowledge and to visit places of worship that are important to different faiths.
Executive Head Aaron Wright emphasises empowering pupils to take ownership of their learning, ensuring pupils are heard with their ideas for improving the education offer, broadening the curriculum with a wide range of clubs and activities, and maintaining an inclusive, high-quality learning environment.
Brook House Primary School has 60 places available in Reception each year. These are free of charge and open to children of all backgrounds and abilities.
