Curriculum Highlights

A Primary School Concept Curriculum that develops the whole child and aims for learners to become Scientists, Geographers, Historians, Designers, Musicians and Artists as well as avid readers, writers and mathematicians. Oracy is given equal priority with reading, writing and understanding mathematical concepts, and oracy is developed through all three areas. Curriculum delivery emphasizes enquiry, discussion, and learning from mistakes, using backwards planning and a framework of knowledge and skills. Learning includes depth studies and a 'little and often' approach, with assemblies sharing big ideas and a carefully designed learning environment. Whole School Theme Trails and enrichment beyond the classroom through visits, meeting experts and other experiences.
