Ethos & Values

"With Christ in our hearts, we live life to the full."

Be Just Be Attentive Be Loving Be Wise Be Courageous

St Anne's Catholic Primary School follows a Catholic ethos. Religious Education is central to the curriculum and the school follows Virtues to Live By across terms. From September 2025, RE will be taught using the Catholic RE programme Lighting the Path published by Oxford University Press and approved by the Diocese of Leeds, with implementation phased over two academic years. The school teaches Other Faiths in a two-year cycle (Buddhism, Islam and Judaism this year; Hinduism and Sikhism next year). Liturgies, assemblies and circle time help pupils explore faith, and the school emphasises the relationship between home, parish and school in forming faith and culture.

Curriculum Highlights

The Admissions Policy 2025/26 and Admissions Policy 2026/27 exist, including a Defined Area Map. The defined area relates to Baptised Children who live in the defined area; the defined area covers the parish of St Anne's, Keighley and Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Silsden.
